I need to get back into Skyrim and modding once the SKSE for Special Edition drops. I've only got like 50 hours in Skyrim but it's fun as hell. my last run was great but something got fucked up with it and I deleted it. I roleplayed as a Khajiit caravan merchant striking out on her own. Used an alternate start mod and began in the Reach, just outside of Markarth. I used immersive mods such as Frostfall, stuff for needing food and water and sleep, visual mods, damage and perk overhauls, more NPCs, you name it. My favorite mod was a journal I kept.
Every time that I came back to Markarth from a venture into the surrounding areas I'd go to the inn, take a room and write in that journal after I eat dinner. I went into my character's moral struggles with killing even if they're bad people, et cetera. Eventually, she got a bit more used to it. I had left on a carriage for Riften to investigate the Thieves Guild and a little after that is when I couldn't continue. I plan to redo that run at some point. I would have gradually made my way up the ranks of the Thieves Guild and also fucked around with the mod to become the High King/Queen. I also would have become corrupted by Daedra. I did the Daedric quest in Markarth and became a bit corrupted as a result. I would have loved to continue with that, becoming more and more ruthless as time goes on and going from this relatively innocent Khajiit to a cold-blooded murderer and thief. Can't wait until I can do that again.
