I can't believe anyone really hates Graduation, that's a great album all around.
808's and Heartbreak probably saved my sanity when I was 18. I had just graduated high school, quit my job and couldn't find anything else, my high school girlfriend left me after cheating on me, I left my dads house without speaking to him and it had almost been a year since we last talked, I felt completely out of place in the world and that album came out and I bought it on a whim and it made me feel at peace with myself - well, enough to not feel completely lost. It was the first hip hop album I listened to that I connected with, not just some fun music for a party or something like that. 808's will always be the album that changed my life the most and I will always be a Stan for Ye.
Anyone else have a deep connection to an album or song from Ye?
