Personally my favorite is Uzi but I think yachty is probably going to go the farthest.I'm not too big of a Kodak fan but I do quiet enjoy No Flockin.
Jazz Cartier is really dope. Good music and I love the aesthetic he cultivates with his music videos, mixtape coverart, etc.
Hotel Paranoia top five albums of this year for me so far
I'm really liking 21 Savage at the moment, the EP with Metro Boomin was really up my alley. I've also warmed to Yachty a lot with the new tape although the genre is something I'm still not sure I totally get
Peewee Longway is probably my favourite right now if he counts. Otherwise Kodak Black although Bricc Baby could be onto something great if he streamlines his sound a little
i feel like uzi has the most pop appeal i dont see yachty going too far unless he improves tho
not big on Uzi, I'm going to give LUV vs the World another shot because I want to like him. Any specific tracks I should check out that really show who he is as an artist?
Money Longer and You Was Right show his style pretty well. Also his song Right Now is one of my favorites
If I had to pick I'd go with Kodak Black. Sounds like he's a natural progression of artists like Boosie and Gucci Mane. Not a huge huge fan but I like him more than the other guys.
kodak for sure.
I didnt get into LBP as much, but institution is a great project.
Lil boat by far
Future Hendrix atw. DS2 is a trap classic.Does Flocka count?
Flockavelli is a trap classic, hell yeah he counts.
Cool also is Flockaveli 2 and album or what?
Flockaveli 2 will be an album but it's not out yet. IIRC the only single for it so far is this:
Anyway what's the definition of "new wave"? Does Flocka fit in it? Future? Young Thug? Or is it just the guys who blew up 2016 or later?
anyway to be completely honest that's just my favorite of the new new wave of recent freshmen, if we're just talking post-2010 guys in general i'd go with Young Thug or Future.
im literally trippin on thiskeep it up!
I'll give you a hint: YAH YAH YAH YAH
